Genesis Children’s Church Curriculum

Genesis Children’s Church Curriculum is a journey through the book of Genesis beginning at Creation and ending with the story of Joseph and his brothers.

Central Truths taught:

1.   Creation – God in his wisdom and love created all things by his words.
   2.         The Fall – Sin separated us from fellowship with God.  Jesus has reconciled us back to God.
   3.         Cain & Abel – We must accept God’s plan for righteousness.
   4.         The Flood – Judgment does eventually come because God is just.
   5.         Tower of Babel – We should be living for the glory of God.
   6.         Abraham & Sarah – We must learn to be content while we wait.
   7.         The Big Test – We must love God more than anyone or anything else.
   8.         Isaac Gets a Wife – Choose friends who influence you towards God.
   9.         Jacob Tricks His Dad – Use opportunities to be a blessing.
   10.       Jacob is Blessed – Nothing can hold back God’s blessings from your life.
   11.       Joseph and his brothers – Insensitivity to others can get you into big trouble.
   12.       Joseph in Prison – You can find strength in Christ to get through any hardship.
   13.       Joseph re-united with brothers – With changes in attitudes, even the most broken of relationships can  be restored.
